How It Began

Vagari Solutions already had a logo that was designed in-house to get the ball rolling on the business. It was already bringing in clients, but not at a scale the founders aspired to. They wanted to broaden the business beyond the local network they had already developed (and were serving exceptionally well, too) and step into the global market. And although their product had no faults and all their clients returned, they were facing difficulties locking in global clients to begin with.

So, they reached out for a consult.

The Problem: Visuals That Didn't Feel Professional

Vagari's founders are experienced businessmen and entrepreneurs. They spoke the local languages within the markets they sourced from and the markets they sold to. They were well-versed in the craft of identifying the right fabric and acquiring the right artisans to connect them with brands that challenged the fast-fashion status quo. They prioritized fair compensation, transparency, and environmental stewardship.

The caveat? They weren't designers.

And so the first impression their company set didn't meet the mark.

For their industry, Vagari needed a strong foundational Logo Suite to reflect the ethos upon which the brand was built. Their current logo lacked that professional, clean finish.

"The brand refresh helped us expand our global reach by 160% and boosted sales by 87%."

The Goal: Clean & Professional Logo Suite

Vagari's founders did not want to an overhaul of their brand. They wanted to stick to the typography, fonts, and colors that they were already using, but they did acknowledge that the impression their logo suite emanated had to shift.

They were looking for a redesign of the logo that was:

  • minimal

  • artsy

  • modern

  • sleek

  • bold

  • clean

  • timeless

Now, I know these sound like buzzwords with no tangible or concrete basis. But, like I said, they are businessmen, not designers. Enter my creative mode.

The Planning Process

The first step was stripping the project back to its core: understanding what Vagari already did well and identifying where design could support growth rather than reinvent the brand.

During our discussion, it became clear that Vagari’s strength lay in its operations, values, and long-term client relationships. The logo didn’t need a dramatic reinvention. What it did need was clarity, refinement, and intention. The goal was to elevate the existing visual language without alienating the current audience.

We began by auditing the existing logo across use cases: digital, print, contracts, and proposals. From there, I focused on refining proportions, balance, spacing, and scalability while staying true to the typography and color palette the founders already trusted.

I brought in my past experience of working with global brands in the EMEA region as this was the region that the founders were aiming to step into next. Every decision was made with global perception in mind ensuring the logo could sit confidently alongside established international brands.

The Result: A Global Brand Mark

The final logo suite delivered a clean, modern, and professional identity that aligned with Vagari’s values and ambitions. By refining the structure and visual weight of the logo, we created a mark that feels timeless, credible, and versatile across touchpoints.

The updated logo allowed Vagari to show up more confidently in global conversations, pitches, and partnerships. Most important, this matched the quality of their work with the quality of their presentation. The result was a brand identity that felt intentional rather than improvised, and trustworthy rather than transitional.

The results spoke for themselves and it proved that sometimes, small design shifts can unlock major business impact.

What The Client Had To Say

"The brand refresh helped us expand our global reach by 160% and boosted sales by 87%. We felt more confident when pitching to global brands and it finally felt like our visuals matched the level of work we were delivering behind the scenes."

What I Loved The Most

What I loved most about working on Vagari was the trust. The founders knew their business inside out and weren’t chasing trends or dramatic change. They simply wanted their brand to reflect their integrity, experience, and professionalism.

This project was a reminder that good design isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes, it’s about knowing what to keep, what to refine, and what to leave untouched. Helping Vagari step confidently into the global market without losing the essence of who they are was incredibly rewarding.
